On April 29th, my mom, cousin, and I went to Atlantic Station in Atlanta in order to go see the Titanic and The Bodies exhibits. We found, though, that this would be more complicated than we first thought due to trouble finding parking, massive amounts of people stepping out in front of us as we were driving, and many other things. It was truly an adventure to behold.
Upon arriving in the area of Atlantic Station, we found it quite difficult to find the exact road which we needed to turn on, therefore we ended up turning on some random road that was near where we needed to be but led us further down from where we had to be. And parking was atrocious. We ended up parking on the street, and even though we got a decent space, it was still a fifteen minute walk to where we needed to be.
Well, that fifteen minute walk ended up taking an hour because the place where the exhibits were hosted at was very hard to find. It was literally hidden. And by the time we got there, it was an hour and a half until they closed and they weren't selling combo tickets anymore, so my mom decided (with my cousin and I also in agreement) that it would be pointless and a waste of money to only see one of the exhibits and have to go home.
So basically all we did was walk around like tourists and go to H&M to look at clothes (and my cousin bought a bracelet). At least we saved money, right? It would've cost us all about $40 a piece for the combo tickets and we ended up only spending about $5 at H&M (plus parking). I guess you could say, "a penny saved is a penny earned." (But we sure did waste a lot of gas...).
