Hi, kids! Long time no see, huh? Sorry about that... I've had a lot of things happen recently that have kept me from updating my blog, and even my YouTube channel.
I can't really share much of anything about what's been going on lately in my private life, but what I can tell you is that I've been getting a good dose of "fiber" in my life--and I don't mean the kind that's in food. My "fiber" intake consists of yarn--and a good bit of it, at that!
Just after Christmas, I went and bought myself a circular loom set. I've been knitting a lot of slouchy beanies on my largest loom, and I'm starting to get really good at it!
On a similar note, I've been doing some crocheting as well. My first finished crochet project was a blanket that I made for my mom. It's made with an I hook, and Lion Brand Homespun yarn in the color Wild Fire.
The second blanket I made traveled all the way to Vienna, Austria for my sweet friend, Stefan, who has a very special place in my heart, for his birthday! His blanket was also made with Lion Brand Homespun yarn, but in the color Lagoon.
I've successfully completed one other blanket for my mom's mom, and I'm currently making a camouflage blanket, but I'm waiting to find more yarn for it so I can complete it. Other items that I've crocheted have been infinity scarves, and I most recently completed a coffee cozy.
I've also recently been asked to make two amigurumi commissions, too! I'll post again when I'm finished with them and have pictures!
